At the December 15, 2011 Corvallis Audubon Society general meeting, it was announced that the National Audubon Society has awarded Hesthavn $1,000 towards the bridges project. With that $1,000 and a required match, Hesthavn has the funding to go forward in contacting structural engineers to oversee this project. We were surprised, during the general meeting, by an anonymous donor stepping forward with a donor matching proposal. Through March 15th, 2012, up to $5,000 will be matched! And, if we meet this goal, with your donations, we will be able to complete the project and have “Loop Walkers” by the summer of 2013.
